Leilani loves monotypes because of their painterly qualities and spontaneity. She had developed her own uniuqe style by combining painting and printmaking. A montype is a unique print. Further impressions can be taken but the whole or some of the areas has to be repainted before each printing. Each image produced is unique. The themes of her works are mostly still lives, gardens and flowers. She likes to capture the beauty and colours that surround her. Leilani's paintings and monotypes are vibrantly colourful.
