Statement:
"For many years I have been in search of my own world of art. Finally I have created it by using vibrant colour combined with brilliant light, absorbed from the French Impressionists and melted into the bold brush strokes of traditional Chinese watercolour and ink painting. It's that light which makes the whole picture vivid creating a sunshine atmosphere so the viewer may feel pleasure."

History:
Wilson Chu, a flower-scape and landscape artist, was born in China in 1946 and apprenticed under Professor Wong Shaw Ming, a well-known artist in Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Chu moved to Canada in the 1970's and is now a resident of Vancouver, B.C.
