About Artist:
Steve Hepburn was born in London, Ontario and moved to British Columbia at an early age. Since graduating from Capilano College's Illustration and Design program in 1994, he has amassed an impressive clientele including Heritage Canada, the Royal Canadian Mint, Chevron and Via Rail. He has received recognition for exceptional work several times for the "Kitsilano Light", "Vino Del Vida", "Bocus d'Or", the Portland Opera, Canada Post, Ontario's Blue Mountains, Vermont's Quechee Lakes, New Jersey's Mountain Creek, … and many others. Working in oils, Steve's illustration style combines strong colour with well thought out composition. He draws on traditional artists such as John Singer Sargent, N.C. Wyeht and Tamara de Lempicka for inspiration.
