Statement:
Sheri works primarily in two-dimensional mediums with a diverse body of work in various forms of printmaking, photography, and acrylic painting. Her current body of work explores abstraction within the landscape genre, which focuses on exploring the mind spaces within an environment rather than depicting a particular place. The paintings also call to mind the confidently effortless mark making of calligraphy to depict only essential qualities within the stillness of the landscape.
